Locality Astrology Workshop Series

  • Corvus Astrology online (Zoom) (map)

In such mobile times many of us live a long way from where we were born. Location astrology responds to the question of what happens to my birth chart when I relocate or travel on holiday, and helps to make sense of why and how we experience ourselves so differently in different parts of the world. Extraordinarily, it may even reflect qualities of the relationships we may have with people - live or dead, personal or not - from those parts of the world: “I enjoy Japanese film, and I see I have my Neptune-MC line passing through Tokyo”, “My partner is Swiss, and I have my Venus-Desc line passing near Geneva”, “Saturn in Sagittarius is on my Ascendant in the UK - perhaps that sheds some light on why I have a love-hate relationship with British philosophers”.

This 4-class workshop introduces you to three important techniques for exploring and working with these ideas: you will learn how to relocate a chart and its significance; you will learn how to read astro-cartography maps, both from a natal and mundane perspective; and you will find out how your chart also gives rise to you own personal directional relationship with the planets, in a sort of astrological feng shui, through local space vectors.

Prerequisites: you will need to have a reasonably good understanding of the basic lexicon of the astrological language to get the most from this short course.

Wednesday evenings, weekly, starting 6th March 2024 from 7-9pm NZ local time (06:00-08:00 GMT previous day). Cost NZ$225.

Workshop Dates: 6/3, 13/3, 27/3, 3/4 [note, no class on the 20/3]
