Transition into Practice workshop series

  • Corvus Astrology online (Zoom) (map)

I have seen many students over the years teeter on the edge of putting their learning into practice but shying back for lack of confidence or experience in interpreting whole charts, not just isolated parts. Gathering of technical knowhow is an important dimension of being a student of astrology, but it’s nothing if we don’t know how to engage it in the world. Transition into Practice is a workshop that attempts to address this.

The series of five classes aims to build interpretative confidence through working extensively with birth charts. You don’t need to want to enter into practice to benefit from these classes, but those of you who would like to put your learning into use with others, whether they be friends and family or paying clients, this course will help you gather and claim the skills to do so. For others, you will find it helps you synthesise your interpretations, and enter more into the wholeness, overall dynamics, and narrative it contains.

Whilst a close loyalty to astrological symbolism will be encouraged, my aim will be to support you to find your own way of relating to the chart and the person who owns it.

There will be exercises and reading between classes, including work in pairs, and the possibility of an organised chart reading experience.

Prerequisites: you will need to have a good understanding of the basic lexicon of the astrological language to get the most from this course and feel ready or almost ready to start seeing clients.

Five Wednesday evenings, fortnightly, from 7-9pm NZ local time (Wednesdays 07:00-09:00 GMT). Cost NZ$290.

Book these workshops here or make an enquiry about the classes.
