I'm totally surprised -  one of the pages on my website that receives the most visitors is an example of a horary chart, 'Where is the Duck?'. Particularly as it’s not that good a chart! But over the last 30 years horary astrology has become increasingly popular, so perhaps I shouldn't be.

Horary uses specific methodology and an astrological map drawn for the moment the question is understood by the astrologer, along with a good symbolic attitude, to reveal an auspicious course of action. And often a succinct answer to a practical question. Will the job application be successful? What would help me get pregnant? Will moving to Auckland be good for the family? Where is my wallet and will I find it? It's actually really fun to see how apt the situation and its unfolding can be shown in a chart, but it can also be invaluable in helping work through a gnarly problem. HORARY FORUMS

These are a chance to meet up to discuss horary charts and judgements. Open to all astrologers of all stages, whether or not you are familiar with this technique, these 2-hour on-line gatherings will involve discussing several horary cases, from my practice as well as from forum attendees. Those new to the craft will pick up aspects of the technique. If you have a chart of your own to share or have a horary question you would like to pose and explore together, please get in touch with me in advance so I can distribute the chart to the attendees before the class.

There are only two forums taking place in 2026: on Wednesday 11th March, and Wednesday 16th September, 7 - 9pm NZ local time. These are on Zoom, and cost NZ$30.
